Los Angeles Guild for Reproductive Health
Promoting Reproductive Health for All
The Los Angeles Guild for Reproductive Health (LAGRH) is a nonprofit volunteer group dedicated to raising funds to support thoroughly-vetted organizations - committed to upholding the rights and dignity of all people - that ensure equitable access to reproductive healthcare services. Non-profit organizations that we support deliver vital reproductive health services directly to those in need from coast to coast.
Services include education; training future leaders in reproductive law and policy; family planning; abortion care; and financial support to ensure access to reproductive healthcare.
LAGRH Supports these Organizations:
PPLA: Care. No Matter What.
Since 1965, Planned Parenthood Los Angeles has provided high-quality, affordable, comprehensive reproductive health care to communities throughout LA County.
WRRAP
Women’s Reproductive Rights Assistance Project (WRAAP) is here to help, not judge. WRRAP helps bridge the financial gap for disadvantaged people who seek an abortion or emergency contraception.
Power to Decide
We envision a world where everyone-no matter who they are or where they live-has control over their bodies and can decide when and under what circumstances to get pregnant and have a child. Our mission is to advance sexual and reproductive well-being for all. We provide trusted, high-quality, accurate information—backed by research—on sexual health and contraceptive methods so young people can make informed decisions.
The Brigid Alliiance
The Brigid Alliance is a 501(c) non-profit that provides individualized, all inclusive support that enables people to travel long distances to get to an abortion provider. In 2023, Brigid helped nearly 1,500 clients travel nearly 2 million miles to access abortion care.
UCLA Center on Reproductive Health, Law & Policy
An innovative new center engaging with community organizations, scholars, lawmakers, practitioners, and advocates on reproductive health, law and policy.
Legal Status of Abortion
It is expected that around half of US states will attempt to implement complete bans on abortion or gestational limits on the procedure. Some of these states currently have legal abortion as courts decide on the validity of existing or new bans. In the remaining states, abortion is legal but may be restricted or access may be limited.
